STIFF KITTIE'S PUBLIC DEBUT!
Dec 22, 2005
After wanting to play there for years, Stiff Kittie
finally played an acoustic show at their favorite coffee hangout, THE BEAN SCENE. The house was totally packed, with people
sitting on the floor in their very first official "Public" concert. The show opened with an awesome slowed down rendition
of Chicks Are Weird, with special guest, Santa Claus on the bongos. Of course, what SK Christmas concert would be complete
without Christmas songs!? The highlight of the show was Bad Dream, one of their newest songs, which progressed into a Christmas
medley during the middle of the song. Silver Bells was amazing with the whole place singing along. It sounded like Christmas
Carolers! The show ended with a bang with Jenny (867-5309) and The Pretender's 500 Miles, with the whole place singing along
and the boys going crazy. This was a great public debut for Stiff Kittie, and the Bean Scene has welcomed them to come back
anytime! They WILL be back!

Thank you SO MUCH to everyone who came to support us!
We haven't had that much fun since...the last concert! It really was a great time and we had a total blast playing for everyone.
It was great to see some old fans and LOTS of new faces. We hope you all had a great time and will come see us again for our
annual Christmas Concert!
Steve and Kevin would like to thank a few people for
making this show happen:
First, a BIG BIG thanks to David and Jim. We couldn't
do it without you guys. Thanks for all the hard work in such a short amount of time. We love you guys! Second, a big thanks
to Steve's parents, for putting up with our noise for the last month. We appreciate you letting us practice in the house...even
at 11 pm. We owe a SUPER big thanks to Bonnie and Mike Walker. They were so kind to let us use the Clubhouse, help set up,
and help tear down. A million thanks to you guys for making this happen! Much thanks to Blake for video taping the show. We
played so long we ran out of tape halfway through! Also a big thanks to Erica for all the help decorating, shopping, and help
during practice. You're the best! Stiff Kittie loves to play no matter what, but it wouldn't mean as much without our fans
there. We want to thank every single one of you who came out to see us. It means the world to be playing for the people
we love. As we continue to evolve with every show, it's so awesome to see all of your faces as we grow and change for every
concert. Stiff Kittie Loves you! And finally....the big man upstairs must be a Stiff Kittie fan...because he always lets us
pull it off. With all the trouble we had pulling this show together with just a few practices, we did it! Thanks again
to everyone! You guys were awesome singers and dancers and we can't wait to do it again at Christmas!!!
RITAS 4TH of JULY BASH (AKA THE BREEZEWAY SHOW)
July 3, 2005
This show was crazy!!! Due to severe weather, the guys weren't able
to play on the patio this year, and were almost forced to cancel. But the crowd wasn't going to let a few tornados keep these
guys from rockin the nation like a celebration! The band was able to cram their equipment and the whole crowd under a covered
breezeway, as they played a huge set list against the background of rain, lightinging, and some powerful winds. Nothing
could stop these guys! As usual they opened up with their own version of the Star Spangled Banner, and later did "Sweet Home
Alabama" with Rita on the mic. The crowd was so nuts, everyone was dancing and jumping around, and even coming up and singing
with the band! After they had finished their set list, the crowd demanded more, and people kept coming...so they kept playing!
They completely freestyled "When I Come Around" as well as Weezer's "Sweater Song" and "Wild Thing." Steve commented on the
show saying, "This was personally our favorite concert to date. There was so much energy from the storm and from the crowd.
We've never had so much fun. It was totally nuts. We even got a show of our own, looking out from our makeshift stage at an
incredible storm. It was just awesome."

STIFF KITTIE GOES ELECTRIC! In their first ever "plugged" concert,
the boys totally rocked, performing both covers and originals. After about an hour long set, they finished the concert with
an acoustic set of some Stiff Kittie classics. Two highlights were when they boys played two brand new songs, "Bad Dream"
and "Stuck." The best part of the show however was when the guys did a spectacular cover of the Violent Femmes "Blister in
the Sun." They threw in a few extra verses, some improv, and danced themselves all the way down to the floor. It was haliarious
seeing Kev and Jim lying flat on their backs playing, while Steve crouched down and whispered "When I go walkin, I strut my
stuff..." Finally, the guys ended the electric set with two old skool covers, "500 miles" and
"Jenny (867-5309). What an awesome show! Can't wait until the
next plugged concert!
2003 STIFF KITTIE CHRISTMAS CONCERT
December 23, 2003
Wowing an intimate crowd against the soft glow of a burning fireplace,Stiff
Kittie played their annual Christmas show "Stiff Kittie Ate Your Christmas Tree 2003." This year, they boys opened up with
their favorite christmas classic, Burl Ive's Jingle Jingle Jingle--Stiff Kittie style. Kevin was hilarious on his
wooden flute while Steve's voice sparkled in this wonderful rendition. All the classics were played, including a special
version of ET with both of them doing kazoo solos, and a home made shaker pedal invention used during Girls
Fart. It was hilarious! The high point of the concert however had to be Christmas Cookies, a special song
written just for that concert. It started off sounding like a sweet song about the joys of Christmas...but turned out to be
a song about christmas cookies! During the song, special cookies were passed out to the crowd made with love by Steve's grandma.
They even had double sprinkles! Once everyone had a cookie they started singing "So take yo cookie and throw it in tha air,
take yo cookie and throw it in the air, take yo cookie and throw it in tha air, and eat it like you just don't care!" Everyone
in the crowd was waving their cookies in the air...it was so funny! Another great Stiff Kittie concert! Can't wait until next
year!!

Another great acoustic show, celebrating the end of school and the beginning of summer!
The boys opened with Girls fart, surprising their audience of all new listeners. "We knew they had no idea what kind of band
we were. After Thank You for the Rain played some very mellow acoustic stuff, we thought we'd show em' what were all about
by opening the set with a song about girls farting. I think it worked because some of them got up and left immediately after."
The boys played a set full of the classics, and when they finished the audience demanded an encore, so the brought out some
oldies like "seamonkeys" and even played a new one called "Song for the Brokenhearted." Once again they had a surprise guest
play the drums, this time a mime from downtown Wichita. Another great show!
STIFF KITTIE HALLOWEEN CONCERT
October 19 2002
The Stiff Kittie Halloween Concert was awesome! It was the
bands second "Official" Concert! Not only did they play well, but they dressed up as hippie nerds too! Kevin
had a giant afro and Steve had on a grey grandma wig...they looked hilarious! One of the highlights of the show
was when 4 guys dressed as women came up and sang back up vocals for "Monster Mash." Ex-girlfriend was great and so
was the ET song. But the best was their last song which the guys were playing for the first time called "Laughing is
better than Crying." They got everyone rockin and the whole crowd was clapping and singing along! What an awesome
concert!!!!
BASEMENT SHOW
August 19, 2001
The boys put on a rockin' show in their first official concert!
They played incredible acoustic versions of Ex-Girlfriend and How We Do Our Thang, and even played the E.T. song! Food
in the Tummy was great and of course Chicks are Weird was one of the best songs played. One of the funniest moments
was when the boys were telling the small crowd a story about their encounter with a killer racoon with rabies the night before...but
were saved by the mysterious "Motorcycle Man." The made it into a song and the whole thing was hilarious!" Stiff Kittie
has got to be the only band who can write a song the night before a concert and then play it! What incredible musicians!
Can't wait to see future shows from this great band!
